BINGO is not for the hearing & visually impaired!!!

So, why is it when you go to Bingo, you always have people who bring their older folks and the whole time you are trying to play they are repeating the numbers for their friends, parents, etc. As they repeat the number several times, they always seem to get LOUDER! And then of course comes the giggling like school girls which is totally distracting to those around them. They don't seem to notice that WE are trying to play the game and win as THEY are playing around. Bingo is NOT for the hearing impaired. If you want to play Bingo, you can play if you are hearing impaired, but can see just fine. Or you can see not so well, but hear great to play. But if you can't do either, we all are in real trouble.

Kids say the cutest things.

While we were in Chicago and Wisconsin, the grandkids and my daughter and son in law fed the "Three Stooges!" Since the kids really love the dogs, we figured this was the best of both worlds. A couple of days after we arrived home, my daughter calls to tell me that my 6 year old grandson wanted to come down to see "his girls", you know, his girlfriends, who happen to be real dogs...."his" girls happen to be "OUR" two female dogs... Miki and Jade. Of course the five year old granddaughter had to chime in that her "boyfriend", Zeb, was buying her a present. They are all so cute...

Back Again

Well, Hubby has been back a few weeks now and we have been having fun. We went to Chicago this past weekend and met up with a couple that I had made friends with while he was gone. Cindy sure is a blast and the fact that she is into scrapbooking as much as I am, really helps out alot! We actually met up at the CHA show there. CHA is the Craft and Hobby Association that we both happen to belong to. It was a fun weekend and then hubby and I went off to Wisconsin. His parents live there and we had the chance to get a little genealogy done. It was a fun filled week.

OK, so it's been a while!

OK, so it's been a while since I have been able to post. But some great things have happened since then.
First, my daughter and son in law found a house to rent! Yeah!!! While I will miss them, it isn't too far away, within walking distance of me and still I get to watch those beautiful babies she makes! Only four houses away, it is close enough to have the kids walk down to me or me to them, but far enough away for everyone to stay out of each other's business!
Second....Hubby got home from Afghanistan! Boy, was I glad to see him! It was a LONG 6 months for both of us and we are both glad to be together again. He has been home for 2 weeks and we are just kickin back enjoying being together. At the end of this week we are going on a trip to Chicago for a convention where I will meet up with a gal I made friends with while he was away. She saved my sanity more than once. More about that meeting when I get back!

A First time for everything

Welcome to my blog. There is a first time for everything and this is it for me. My first blog and I am excited! My life is blessed and full of funny stories to tell. I am married to a Great guy who loves me as much as I love him. He is in the Air Force Reserves, but currently is deployed.... You know what that means don't you? When hubby is away, well that is when all crap hits the roof. My basement flooded twice since he has been gone, one of the cars won't start, and my daughter, her husband and THREE children under FIVE moved in to our 3 bedroom house! UGH! Am I having fun yet???
Yep, it is a bit crowded here. Two children (4 and 5 year olds) are in our bedroom. The parents and the baby (1 year old) are in another bedroom and the third bedroom is my office. I am currently trying to figure out how all this is going to work out when hubby gets home and we want some "Alone" time, if you know what I mean!?! I am thinking some kind of really nice hotel with a spa in it so I can get a massage, foot rub, pampering as well as some good oold fashioned role in the hay with hubs. Huuby on the other hand is probably thinking more like a motel 6, you know, something inexpensive and not much other to do but role in the hay! ROFLOL..... Yeah Ok, you will have to get used to my ~wicked~ humor if you want to continue to read these blogs...
Enough for now....it is very very early in the morning and I am sure that the ~BABY~ will be waking up at 3 AM like she has been doing lately, and good ole MEMA (that's me!) wsill be up catering to her every whim! hahahaha Until later.....
